Dr Charles Waturu Nderito, the Director of the KARI National Horticultural Research Centre – Thika will make a presentation on Bt-cotton research progress in Kenya.

Dr Waturu holds a PhD in Crop protection from Reading University where he obtained his Msc in the same discipline. He is the author of 10 journal articles among other scientific publications and co-supervises PhD, Msc and Bsc students.
